Available Regions​

United States​

  • US East (Virginia) - Primary data center
  • US West (Oregon) - Secondary data center
  • Compliance: SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, FedRAMP

Europe​

  • EU West (Ireland) - GDPR compliant
  • EU Central (Frankfurt) - German data protection laws
  • Compliance: GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2

Asia Pacific​

  • APAC (Singapore) - Regional data center
  • APAC (Sydney) - Australian data sovereignty
  • Compliance: ISO 27001, local privacy regulations

Setting Your Data Residency​

During Initial Setup​

  1. Navigate to Account Settings > Data Residency
  2. Select your preferred region
  3. Confirm your choice (this cannot be changed after setup)
  4. Complete the setup process

Key Considerations​

  • GDPR: EU regions ensure full GDPR compliance
  • Data Protection Laws: Choose regions that align with your local regulations
  • Industry Requirements: Some sectors require specific geographic data storage

Performance​

  • Latency: Select regions closest to your primary user base
  • Cloud Provider Proximity: Choose regions near your cloud infrastructure
  • Network Optimization: Reduce data transfer times and costs

Data Transfer and Migration​

Important: Data residency cannot be changed after initial setup. If you need to change regions:

  1. Contact enterprise support
  2. A new account setup may be required
  3. Data migration services available for Enterprise customers
