Downloading Scan Reports​

The platform allows users to download detailed scan reports for analysis, sharing, and remediation planning. Reports can be downloaded directly from the Scan List page or from the History tab within a specific scan.

Users can select the required report type and file format before downloading the report.

Download Reports from the Scan List​

Users can quickly download reports directly from the Scan List page.

Steps​

  1. Navigate to the Scan List page.
  2. Locate the scan for which you want to download a report.
  3. Click the Download Report option available for the scan.
  4. Select the report type.
  5. Choose the file format.
  6. Download the report.

This option allows users to download reports from the most recent scan execution without opening the scan details.

Download Reports from Scan History​

Reports can also be downloaded from the History tab within a scan. The History tab provides access to reports for each scan execution.

Steps​

  1. Open the required Scan.
  2. Navigate to the History tab.
  3. View the table containing previous scan executions.
  4. Locate the scan execution for which you want to download a report.
  5. Click the Download Report option in the corresponding row.
  6. Select the report type and format.
  7. Download the report.

This method is useful when users need reports from previous scan runs.

Available Report Types​

The platform provides multiple report types to support different use cases.

Executive Summary​

A high-level overview of the scan results designed for management and stakeholders.
It highlights key findings, overall risk levels, and important insights without technical details.

Full Report​

A comprehensive report containing the complete scan results, including vulnerabilities, affected assets, severity levels, and supporting details.

Technical Report of Vulnerabilities​

A detailed technical report intended for security engineers and developers.
It includes in-depth vulnerability information, affected components, and technical evidence.

Remediation Report​

A report focused on remediation guidance.
It provides recommendations and steps required to resolve identified vulnerabilities.

Available Download Formats​

Reports can be downloaded in multiple formats depending on user requirements.

Word Document (.docx)​

A Microsoft Word document format suitable for editing, customization, and sharing with stakeholders.

PDF Document (.pdf)​

A fixed-format document ideal for secure sharing and printing.

HTML Format (.html)​

A web-based format that can be viewed directly in a browser or hosted internally for easy access.

Selecting Report Type and Format​

Before downloading a report, users can select:

  • The report type based on the level of detail required.
  • The file format based on how the report will be used or shared.

Once the selections are made, the report will be generated and downloaded to the user's system.
