Search & Query Options
DeepTraq provides powerful filtering capabilities to help you quickly find and analyze specific vulnerabilities and focus on what matters most to your security operations.
Accessing Filters
The Filters panel is available in the Vulnerabilities tab. Use the filter options to narrow down results by various criteria.
Available Filter Categories
Category
Filter vulnerabilities by assessment type or security domain:
- Network Perimeter Risk
- Device Risk
- Cloud Workload Risk
- Cloud Security Vulnerabilities
- Code Vulnerabilities
- Web Application
Select one or multiple categories to view only vulnerabilities from specific assessment types.
Targets
Filter vulnerabilities by specific hosts, IP addresses, or URLs that were scanned. Select one or multiple targets to focus on vulnerabilities affecting specific systems in your infrastructure.
Severity
Filter vulnerabilities by their severity level:
- Critical
- High
- Medium
- Low
Select one or multiple severity levels to prioritize remediation efforts based on risk.
Min-CVE Score
Filter vulnerabilities by minimum CVSS (Common Vulnerability Scoring System) score using a slider control. Set the minimum threshold to show only vulnerabilities with scores equal to or above the selected value. CVSS scores range from 0-10, with higher scores indicating more severe vulnerabilities.
Issue Status
Filter vulnerabilities by their current remediation or review status including Error, Passed, Suppressed, Fix Pending, False Positive, and Risk. Select multiple statuses to track vulnerabilities in different workflow stages.
Fix Availability
Filter vulnerabilities based on whether patches or fixes are available. Choose Yes to show vulnerabilities with available fixes, or No to identify issues requiring workarounds or compensating controls.
Using Filters Effectively
Applying Filters
Select criteria from one or more filter categories, then apply the filters to update the vulnerability list to show only matching findings.
Combining Filters
Filters work together using AND logic - results must match all selected criteria. Combine filters from different categories to create precise queries for your specific needs.
Filter Strategies
Emergency Response: Focus on Critical severity, Risk status, and available fixes for immediate action.
Routine Remediation: Target High/Medium severity with Fix Pending status to track ongoing work.
Compliance Review: Use comprehensive filters across all categories for audit reports and documentation.
Cleanup Activities: Filter by False Positive status to review and document incorrect findings.
